SEA-KIT International and Fugro recently won the Offshore Support Journal 2021 Subsea Innovation Award for the inspection, maintenance and repair work carried out for Woodside Offshore Australia using the 12m SEA-KIT X-class USV, 'Fugro Maali'.
Riviera Maritime Media, organisers of the Offshore Support Journal Awards 2021, cite the Subsea Innovation Award as 'recognising the growing trend of developing and using unmanned and autonomous vessels in offshore activities'.
On accepting the award on behalf of the SEA-KIT team, business development manager James Hopper said:
